THE SHAEFER RESIDENCE
IDI - RESIDENTIAL DESIGN (Spring 2023)
A dynamic residential loft space designed to cater to the functional needs of a multi-generational family. The entry-level space plan is designed to accommodate a wheelchair family member. The design combines Industrial, Eclectic, and Scandinavian styles.
Full house renderings were built in SketchUp and I utilized the Enscape application to integrate texture and lighting for a more realistically rendered portrayal of the space.

A warm and functional mid-century modern inspired kitchen space designed for an elderly retired couple. Walnut wood cabinetry paired with cream marble backsplash and countertops adds a level of sophistication to the space. Pops of green and red can be found in the furniture and accessories which play off of the colors found in the exposed brick fireplace.
Researched and sourced all furniture, fixtures, appliances, lighting and decor. Integrated all sourced items and finishes into construction documentation and renderings.

A warm and textured bathroom is designed to evoke a spa-like experience for the users. Walnut wood makes the space feel warm, relaxed, and mature. Green and blue coordinating tile and wallcovering bring texture and color to the space.
Researched and sourced all plumbing fixtures, lighting, and material finishes. Integrated all sourced items and finishes into construction documentation and renderings.

IDI - HISTORICAL PRESERVATION (FALL 2023)
Historical Preservation Site: Red Rest and Red Roost Bungalows La Jolla, California
The exterior facade was refurbished to cater to the California State Historical Building Codes. The interiors were refurbished and redesigned into a kid-friendly attraction. Each cottage aims to educate children and families about Oceanology and Geology as it relates to the La Jolla coastline.

Designed a working space plan to accommodate a list of required rooms and adjacencies for mental and physical healthcare in Allapattah, Florida.
Allapattah Wellness Center aims to care for the community by providing a welcoming, safe, and comfortable healthcare facility to support residents and local families. The Center features all-purpose rooms to be rented out or used for gatherings and events.

A Health and Wellness Center (Camp Cowell) designed to create an exciting and immersive pediatric physical therapy experience for children 12 and under. Treatment facilities are specifically designed as pas interactive play structures to help eliminate the mental and emotional load typically associated with physical therapy.
